The first solo book by Tommi Musturi, editor of the Finnish anthology Glömp. The First Book of Hope was his graduation work and pictures the mindstate of a middle-aged man in Finland. He enjoys the little pleasures of life on the countryside (eating, fixing a bird’s nest, sauna, walking in the forest) while reminiscing childhood and contemplating about life. The interaction between poetical words and beautiful images makes this a wonderful book.
