Louis Armstrong was the album debut of Philip Paquet. His graphic novel tells us about Armstrong’s youth and his early days as a musician, a story laced with anecdotes and colourful people. Paquet’s moody and elegant illustrations are the ideal accompaniment to Armstrong’s words.
