° Expo tot en met 20 november, open elke vrijdag (behalve 11/11), zaterdag en zondag (behalve 13/11) van 14u tot 18u. Ook open op afspraak.
Tomas Redrey, geboren en getogen in Antwerpen (B), raakte zo’n 15 jaar geleden in de ban van tatoes en heeft sindsdien een gestaag groeiende reputatie als tatoeëerder opgebouwd. Met zijn vriend Younes opende hij in 20210 zijn eigen tatoeageshop “Brabo’s Hand“.
Met trots stellen we op 27/10 het boek ‘Tomas Redrey” voor. Dit mooi vormgegeven boek – met dank aan Gerard Leysen￨Afreux! – bundelt een selectie uit tatoeage ontwerpen die Redrey de laatste vijf jaar heeft getekend / geschilderd om tentoongesteld te worden aan de muren en in de vitrines van Brabo’s Hand. Het boek bevat ook prenten van antieke voorwerpen en memorabilia waarnaar Redrey vaak refereert of die hem inspireerden bij het creëren van een eigen iconografie.
Op 27/10 start in the Bries Space ook Tomas Redreys expo,. met originelen uit het boek én nieuw werk.

We’re proud to present “Tomas Redrey’, the first ever book with Tomas Redrey’s artwork, in the Bries Space on 27/10. The beautifully designed book – by Gerard Leysen￨Afreux – collects a selection of tattoo designs he painted over the last five years with the purpose to be displayed around the walls and windows of Brabo’s Hand. Also included are some pictures of antiques and memorabilia which are often used as a reference or inspiration to shape his iconography.
° Book launch and opening expo on Thursday 27 October from 19h until 22h.
° Expo runs until 20 November, open every Friday (except 11/11), Saturday and Sunday (except 13/11) from 14h until 18h, and by appointment.
